Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

Griffin Lumber & Hardware ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our website users. This Privacy Policy is a statement that discloses the ways our website collects, uses, discloses, and manages the data of its visitors and customers.

1. What Information Is Collected?

We receive, collect, and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way.

  • Automatically-Collected Information: We collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login details; email address; password; computer and connection information; and purchase history. We may use software tools and platform metrics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

  • Personally Identifiable Information: We collect information including your name, email, password, communications, payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profiles.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE US WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO BROWSE THE WEBSITE. However, if you do not provide your Personal Information, you will not be able to use certain interactive features of the Website, such as submitting a product quote request.

2. How Do We Collect Information?

We collect information directly from you when you interact with our site. For example, when you complete and submit a form—such as, but not limited to, requesting a product quotation—as part of the process, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address, and email address. Your personal information will be used for these specific operational reasons only.

3. Integrated Catalog Services (eShowroom)

To provide our comprehensive Product Selection Guide and interactive product catalog, we partner with eShowroom, LLC. Depending on how you interact with our platform, this catalog may be delivered to you in one of two ways:

  • Embedded Experience (Framed/iFrame): If the eShowroom catalog is framed directly within our Website, you remain on our domain, but your session interactions, IP address, and any information you submit through embedded quote or contact forms are processed securely by eShowroom, LLC to fulfill your requests and pass them to us.

  • Linked Experience: If you click a link that directs you to our external eShowroom-hosted portal (e.g., a custom myeshowroom.com web address), your browsing experience on that external platform is governed by eShowroom, LLC’s independent privacy policy.

4. Why Do We Collect Personal Information?

We collect such Non-Personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Website and Services;

  • To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-Personal Information, which we or our platform providers (such as eShowroom) may use to provide and improve our respective services;

  • To process transactions and requests that you initiate through the Website, such as responding to a product quotation request, answering questions, or managing promotions;

  • To track and aggregate Automatically-Collected Information via IP addresses to analyze web traffic;

  • To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

5. Do We Use Cookies?

Yes. When you visit our Website, one or more cookies are placed on your device to make your interaction with the Website easy and meaningful. A cookie is a small file that assigns your computer a unique, random number acting as an anonymous ID. Standing alone, cookies do not personally identify you; rather, they identify the computer you use to access the Website.

  • Our Website Cookies: We use cookies to recognize your browser, remember your personal settings, pre-fill forms for you by saving your preferences for future visits, and compile aggregate data about Website traffic and interaction so that we can offer better experiences and tools in the future.

  • Catalog Integration Cookies: Our integrated product catalog (provided by eShowroom) utilizes functional cookies or browser local storage to remember your product preferences, track your catalog selections, and keep your session active—whether you are viewing the catalog embedded directly on our site or via a direct link.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your browser settings to disable cookies or notify you when you receive a new cookie. If you disable cookies, you will still be able to browse the Website, but certain interactive features (like compiling a product quote list) may not function properly.

6. Third-Party Cookies and Website Analytics

We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our Website traffic and to provide targeted advertising to you. These third parties may track and analyze Website usage information. You may encounter cookies from these third parties on certain pages of the Website, which we have allowed. These third parties are only given Automatically-Collected Information and are not given Personal Information. The information we receive from these third-party service providers may be re-associated with your Personal Information after we receive it back from them. These

service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.

7. Do We Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?

We do not sell, rent, trade, share, or otherwise transfer your Personal Information to third parties for their own independent marketing uses.

  • Service Providers and Agents: We provide your Personal Information and Automatically-Collected Information to our trusted agents and technical vendors (such as eShowroom, LLC) so that they can perform vital technical services on our behalf—including assisting us in operating our Website, conducting our business, performing marketing services, and providing product catalog tools to you. These parties are contractually required to keep this information confidential and are strictly prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

  • Business Transfers: We may transfer any and all Personal Information and Automatically-Collected Information to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of assets of all or any portion of our business. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of such a transfer by posting a notice on the Website. Unless you consent otherwise, your Personal Information will remain subject to the promises made in this Policy even after the transfer. Any Personal Information and Automatically-Collected Information you provide after the transfer will likely be subject to a new privacy policy, which you should review.

  • Legal Compliance: We may release your Personal Information and Automatically-Collected Information, without your consent and without additional notice to you, when we reasonably believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, judicial proceedings, court orders, or legal processes; to enforce this Policy or to protect, establish, or exercise our rights or defend against legal claims; or to protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety.

8. External Third-Party Links

This Policy applies only to information collected directly through our official Website domain. Occasionally, we may include traditional links to external, independent third-party websites, products, or services. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies, which we recommend you review. Your use of such third-party sites is not governed by this Policy. We have no responsibility or liability for the independent content or practices of these linked sites.

9. Online Privacy Policy Only

This online Policy applies only to information collected through our Website and not to information collected offline.

10. Security and Legal Disclaimer

We use commercially reasonable physical, technological, and managerial security measures to assist in protecting against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access to, and alteration of Personal Information and Automatically-Collected Information that is under our control. This includes the use of firewalls, intrusion detection, vulnerability scans, and other security measures.

Unfortunately, no data storage system or system of transmitting data over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we employ reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee or warrant that unauthorized third parties will never defeat those measures, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our servers.

11. Retention and Storage

We may retain Personal Information and Automatically-Collected Information in our databases for as long as is required to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and in accordance with existing document retention policies and applicable laws. This period may extend beyond your immediate relationship with us to ensure compliance with legal obligations, prevent fraudulent activity, resolve disputes, protect ourselves against liability, and allow us to pursue available remedies and limit any damages we may sustain.

12. Supplemental Notice for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies solely to residents of the State of California. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA"), you are entitled to specific disclosures and rights regarding your personal information.

  • Our Catalog Provider's Role: With respect to the integrated product catalog and Selection Guide features provided on this Website, eShowroom, LLC acts strictly as a "Service Provider" under the CCPA. eShowroom processes personal information and automatically-collected technical data solely on behalf of Blue Ridge Lumber Company to fulfill your catalog requests and optimize platform functionality. eShowroom is contractually prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing your personal information for any purpose other than providing these specified services.

  • Categories of Personal Information Collected and Disclosed: In the preceding 12 months, we (and our service providers) have collected and disclosed for a business purpose the following statutory categories of personal information: Identifiers (name, email, physical address, IP address); Commercial Information (products viewed, saved items, quote requests); and Internet/Electronic Network Activity (browsing history, page interactions, clicks within our catalog interface).

  • Your California Privacy Rights: If you are a California resident, you have the right to request access to the specific pieces of data we hold, the right to request deletion of your information, and the right to correct inaccurate data.

  • Opt-Out of Sharing: We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, the use of third-party analytics and advertising pixels may constitute "sharing" under California law. You have the right to opt-out of this sharing by utilizing our website's Cookie Consent Banner or clicking the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer.

  • Exercising Your Rights: To exercise your California privacy rights, please submit a verifiable request directly to us. Any verified deletion or data access request fulfilled by us will automatically extend to data safely managed within the eShowroom platform infrastructure.

13. Privacy Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
